About this experience
Description
A semi-private day trip in a mini-van, for a maximum of 8 guests, that pairs the freshness of the Cretan mountains with the wild beauty of the south coast.
The day starts at Lake Zaros, a peaceful oasis at the foot of Mount Psiloritis. Surrounded by greenery, clear springs and shaded paths, it is an ideal place to slow down: walk around the lake, or enjoy a coffee or a cold drink by the water.
From there the route heads south on a scenic off-road drive through the mountains and the impressive Gorge of Trypiti, with a photo stop along the way. It ends at Trypiti Beach, a hidden corner of southern Crete known for its turquoise water, dramatic cliffs and untouched setting, far from the crowds. You have free time to swim, sunbathe or simply take in the scenery before the drive back.

Should take: Swimsuit, towel, hat, sunscreen, beachwear, snorkelling equipment if you have it, camera, cash for extra expenses.

Good to know: Part of the route is off-road, so the trip is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties and not recommended for those prone to travel sickness. Pets, non-folding strollers and electric wheelchairs are not allowed. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons the organizer may change the route and the schedule of the trip at any time.
