Altana Cliffside Villas is Altana Hospitality’s new restoration project on the Caldera, in the heart of the Cliffside settlement of Imerovigli,a collection of autonomous villas, serviced suites & cave houses.
It is the gradual fruition of a long renovation process of a complex of extensive wine cellars dating back to the 1800s.These wine cellars have been converted into impressive cave villas and suites spanning five levels of large terraces overlooking the Santorini Cliffs and the traditional village of Imerovigli.

Altana Cliffside Villas operates as a complex of autonomous, serviced vacation cave villas and suites, most of which boast private dip or plunge pools. Located a short walk away from the Altana Heritage Suites mansion and “Kafeneion”, the Altana wine & cocktail bar bistro, our new property enriches our selection of accommodation options for Altana guests.

All suites and villas offer verandas with views of the Caldera and the Aegean Sea, surrounded by the magical ambiance of the Cliffside architecture of the village of Imerovigli.

Equal to the Altana signature amenities, all cave villas and suites are equipped with high quality, exclusive brand name bio cosmetics by Damana and Apivita, fine custom made linen, bath, pool and beach towels, bathrobes and slippers.Elegant Mediterranean aromatherapy essence diffusers by Castelbel relax the senses and enhance the experience of the interior ambiance. Complimentary herbal teas and infusions, as well as Espresso Machines with a variety of complimentary coffee, coupled with interesting books on the local history, culture, architecture, food and all things Greek make guests feel at home.
A wide range of services, from grocery shopping and custom made food baskets to massage and spa treatments, private yoga sessions and more, are easily arranged through our concierge for our guests to privately enjoy at their villa.
Our selection of fine wine, champagnes, Altana volcanic farm products and locally sourced goods, can be placed in all Villas upon a simple request to our concierge.High speed Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the property and within all Villas & Suites. All Villas & Suites have been equipped with state of the art media players and digital connectivity systems. Breakfast is delivered to our guests’ villas daily upon arrangement,or can be enjoyed at the "Kafeneion",a short stroll away.

Non-Refundable Rate
The full amount is charged at the time of booking. No modifications or cancellations are accepted after the reservation is confirmed. By completing your booking, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

Flexible Rate
A deposit or the full amount may be required at the time of booking, depending on the property’s individual payment terms. The applicable payment schedule will be clearly indicated during the booking process. Any remaining balance is due as specified in the property’s payment policy.

All payments are processed securely. Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards. Book-in-Greece.com acts as an intermediary between the guest and the property; the final payment responsibility lies with the guest.

Cancellation policy

Non-Refundable Rate
Reservations made under the Non-Refundable rate cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded under any circumstances. The total booking amount is charged in full at the time of reservation and is non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation, including unforeseen events or emergencies.

Flexible Rate
