Location:

Star Beach Village is located only a few meters from its sister, Star Beach Water Park, with 5 beautifully sandy beaches available, just 25 km from N. Kazantzakis International Airport, 3 minutes drive from the center of Hersonissos and another 30 minutes drive from the City of Heraklion, the 2.000 B.C. Minoan Knossos Palace and the Venetian Harbor. From the east side there is the picturesque town of Agios Nikolaos (30 km) and also the summer ancient Minoan Palace of Malia (5 km).

Accommodation:

It consists of 318 beautifully decorated Hotel Rooms, Dbls, Family Rooms & Superior Family rooms, with garden and sea view, split unit heating and air-conditioning, bath/shower, hairdryer, direct isdn telephone line, safe box, 43 inches, Sat.T.V, Music Channels, direct Wi-Fi Internet access, fridge, microwave, coffee & tea facilities, and balcony or terrace.

Room Facilities:

A) Dbl rooms open plan with 1double bed plus 2 singles or a bunk bed, 28 square meters each, with fridge, microwave, coffe & tea facilities. (Max. occupancy 3 adults + 1 child).

B) Standard Family Rooms, 40 square meters, have a children’s room with 2 beds separated from the main sleeping room which has 1 double bed, 2 singles or a bunk bed. (Max. occupancy 4 adults + 2 children). It has also an extra W.C. separated from the main Bathroom.

C) Superior Family rooms, Same decoration and facilities like the Standards, only that they are more spacious (52 m2). (max. occupancy 5 adults + 1 child).

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Hotel has 6 rooms in the main building special designed for handicapped (easy access with wheel chair). They have larger doors according to the International Standards, direct access from and to the reception, the lobby and the main restaurant with a lift, shower instead of a bath and all the necessary equipment in the bathroom and the toilet to sit, stand and hold.

Swimming Pool:

The Hotel’s main swimming pool, open only for Hotel clients with fresh water, depth from 20cm-1.40cm, size 700 square meters with open-air Jacuzzi and separate children’s pool. Deck chairs and umbrellas are with no charge around the pool.

In Water Park, open to non Star Beach Village clients also, there are 8 swimming pools for everybody’s taste.

“Minos” Main Restaurant

In-door & out-door restaurant. (The in-door place is a no smoking area).

It is located in the main building of the Hotel.

Full board served in buffet style, self service.

Operation hours:

07:30 - 10:00. Serves full American breakfast.

13:00 - 14:30. Lunch buffet accompanied by soft drinks, draught beer, local wine (bottle), mineral water, filter coffee, hot chocolate, tea, juices.

18:30 - 21:30. Dinner buffet, accompanied by soft drinks, draught beer, local wine, mineral water, filter coffee, hot chocolate, tea, juices.

It is located right in front of the Hotel, inside the Star Beach Water Park and has a spectacular view to the Cretan Sea.

07:30 - 10:00. Serves full American breakfast.

12:30 - 14:30. Lunch buffet accompanied by soft drinks, draught beer, local wine, mineral water, filter coffee, hot chocolate, tea, juices.

It is located at the east side of the Hotel, right in front of the family area of the Water Park.

Operation hours: 19:00 – 21:30.

Dinner buffet, accompanied by soft drinks, draught beer, local wine, mineral water, filter coffee, hot chocolate, tea, juices.

Toasts, sandwiches, pommes frites, ice cream, pizza, variety of salads & sorbets are being served between 10:00-18:30.

“Café Del Mar” Pool-Snack Bar

Out-door bar (inside the Water Park, right next of the water slides).

Operation hours:

 10:00 - 18:30.

Serves filter coffee, hot beverages (espresso, cappuccino and hot chocolate), tea, juices, soft drinks, long drinks, draught beer, and local wine plus international spirits.

Toasts, sandwiches, pommes frites, ice cream, pizza, variety of salads are being served between 10:00-18:30.

“Helios” Lobby Bar

In-door & out-door main bar (in the main building).

Operation hours:

16:30 - 23:00.

Serves filter coffee, hot beverages (espresso, cappuccino and hot chocolate), tea, juices, soft drinks, long drinks, draught beer, and local wine plus international spirits.

16:30 till 18:00 “Coffee Time” served with assorted pastries.

“Blue Star” Beach Bar

Out-door beach bar (in the water park, right in front of the sea).

Operation hours:

10:00 - 18:00.

Serves filter coffee, hot beverages (espresso, cappuccino and hot chocolate), tea, juices, soft drinks, long drinks, draught beer, and local wine plus international spirits.

The Star Beach Water Park (A real fun for both adults and children) is a member of the same Company with Star Beach Village and it is open to outside clients also. All Star Beach Village clients may enjoy all its activities and facilities from 10.00 to 19.00 hrs. The Star Beach Water Park has 2 areas; the right side is for those who are seeking peace and the left one for those who are looking for fun and action.

It has a nautical base with water sports, Parasailing, water ski, Jet bikes, Banana, Rings, Multi-tubes, lazy river, 4 giant slides with 2 multi tubes, kamikaze and black hole, Bungee Jump, Diving Center, Gym, Shopping Center, Photo shop, Volley ball, 8 swimming pools, 2 lazy rivers, Jacuzzi, Kindergarten, Baby Pool, Mini Slides, Bank ATM, Internet and a great variety of bars and restaurants for all in the family.

Our Crete Golf Club (just 10 min. driving from the Hotel) is a 18-hole championship layout. The course itself is described as the best desert-style lay-out, featuring expansive fairway hewn through rocks and ravines. Free shuttle service or private transfer is available.
